Elections Liberal tears and meltdown thread

I think Trump is a better choice than kamala,
but I wonder if Trump will let go of power in 4 years.
He has had enough time to learn how to succeed this time.
I'm on the fence about who the better choice was, for America probably Trump, for the rest of the world probably Kamala. However I can't see Trump would even want another term after he serves this one, he physically may not even be able to make it, at his age and weight anything could happen.

My polling station had big signs saying that cell phone use was prohibited in the area. I think you probably committed election fraud.

Not mine. Besides, if someone asked, I would have said I had my picks on my phone or I was looking someone up.

Same boat brother. I voted independent because I couldn't see enough benefit in either side. I think Harris with a red senate and house would have been the best outcome. Trump with all the majority is concerning but all we can do is brace for whatever comes. No sense crying over the debacle. We were fucked either way. Only thing that changed was the hole.

As far as bathing in the tears, I can't even laugh at it because I'm just so sick of conflic. Just saw 3 marines flush their careers over this election (both sides) and it's just too fucking ridiculous to be funny

I am for neither side but have never ever found an independent candidate appealing-jill stein, really? But for some reason, the cockiness of the left wing influencers on social media were pissing me off with how cocky and condescending they were. The whole “real men vote for harris” campaign pops into my head. The harry sisson kid, some woman named Jo, david hogg-not anyone I have ever followed but their tweets are on my feed daily.

And shame about people blowing up their lives over this election. It does seem to be even nastier than the last couple, though 2020 was a very emotional year on many fronts.

Why not? If he's 'literally Hitler' why would they just let him take power.
I really enjoyed some of the Dem's reaction after the first assassination attempt.

It went from calling him a fascist akin to Hitler who will end American democracy if elected to wishing him a speedy recovery.

If you truly believe that Trump is Hitler and will end America then you don't wish him a speedy fucking recovery.

I can't believe their "Trump = Hitler" messaging didn't land with voters.

Of course he will.

Probably close to dead by then. He is getting old.

If he is successful, maybe he will get a kid in office like Bush did.

Dude all the social media aping for both sides was driving me up the god damn wall. I can not stand that shit. If you have genuine opinions on policy, by all means voice it. But all the demonizing, moral grand standing, and hate slinging that they throw at each other is just vile. Like monkeys throwing shit at each other.

I'm just glad it's not getting violent like last time

Check out the 1st page of Reddit. Damn, most threads are pretty much calling Trump voters uneducated and idiots. they think they’re better than the republicans, independents.
Some would say that is an accurate statement. Just because a candidate wins the presidency does not mean his voters or fans are not uneducated or idiots. The two can be mutually true and accurate.

I am wondering if Rudy Giuliani will refresh his role in Trumps Administration again, the original Fraud Conspiracy Team.

Yeah, i generally agree. With Bannon i give him a pass because he was literally put in prison so i'd be unhinged too in that case, but i don't like it when people celebrate the more aggressive persecution threat style rhetoric.

Dude literally just got out of jail over some bullshit that no one else had been jailed for, except Peter Navarro, another Trump guy. The people who did that and weaponized the DOJ, including going after Trump, SHOULD be held accountable.

Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis should be held accountable.

Otherwise they will just be emboldened. They literally ran their campaigns on going after a specific political person.

You think that is Ok? If not, then why should they not be held accountable? Those New York judges who ignored higher, appeal court rulings and had clear conflict of interests?

Or the 1/6 committee people who deleted all their evidence, when it was clear they held certain evidence to push a narrative. Both of which is illegal. Cassidy Hutchinson clearly lying under oath and then changing testimony when called out. Yea she should go to jail. Lying to congress about the former president cause she is sad she is out of a job

It isn’t being “at each others throats” if you are holding thugs and criminals accountable

Edit: trump is literally to still be sentenced at the end of this month lol

This is the kind of shit that really bothers me. Everyone is so at each other's throats that nothing will ever quell the hostilities. Especially with all this "enemies within" crap thats been pushed recently. People are angry, scared, itching to fight, etc and over fucking what? 2 parties that have never had your interest in mind? Shit, I'm at work right now and shit is tense as fuck. I just wish both sides would stop propping up these hard leaning shit candidates to run the country. I'd do anything for a god damn moderate

You do realize Trump is still about to be sentenced in a couple by a democrat judge, whose daughter has worked for Kamala, with a case where the DA literally campaigned on going after Trump.

Yea, Steve bannon calling these people out is the real problem

Nothing is going to come of the cases.

Nothing is going to come of the cases.

He already has to pay 500 million between the two civil cases.

And if they are overturned on appeals easily, why were they brought to begin with and cost millions in tax payer money? Oh yea, to smear their political opponent for the media to run wild.

That is not Steve bannon, and those people should be held accountable
