Elections Liberal tears and meltdown thread

literally? no of course not. but the right to women's bodily autonomy will remain gone and black people will continue to be negatively affected by right wing policy & rampant racism. for the record, kamala wouldn't have done shit for minorities either but she would have at least worked to reinstate roe v wade.
A lot of racism from a guy that has a jew as a son-in-law, a VP that has an indian wife, and those damn Tim Scott kind of fellas.
When your primary message is killing babies, i don't think you can really claim any moral superiority.

My lesbian co worker is asking people who they voted for and is upset.

I don't want her to ask me because we get along really well. This shit is so awkward
Nah own it. If she can't process her feeling in a healthy manner that's on her. Like I've said in this thread, the people have spoken and Republicans should take this opportunity given to them to do the will of the people. While I think it will be dumb ass fuck, the people have spoken.

That should be the democrats plan. Let Republicans have everything they wish with no resistance. Let their policy speak for itself. Democrats should not introduce any bills and should not vote on any bills.
Agreed they should stick to that plan for the next 25 years at least.

I’m just happy I won’t have to look at 20 soy face youtube thumbnails per page moving forward.

Yep. Let the cards fall where they may.

Same strategy used in workplaces with an overbearing manager or director. Let them make all the decisions, and with it, the consequences for failure.

Need a reminder function so I can remember to quote this if shit goes sideways.

I never understood the overwhelming desire to revel in the misery of others. And it's present on both sides. People on the left are genuinely concerned for their well being (some concerns being valid, some not) but if it the result was flipped it'd be the right in the same position. Angry, fearful, and demonizing the other side. What's the fucking point?

Idk, maybe it's because I knew I was losing either way (wrote in my vote) but this was what I was dreading more than the results.
Who was ending careers the last 10 years Democrats or Republicans? Who was pushing diversity training in people's workplaces?

One of my Facebook friends is having a meltdown. She thinks trans people are going to be locked up and beaten anytime now. She's also pissed off that Trump got elected because her and her friends won't be allowed to have abortions. When somebody pointed out that abortions are now governed at a state level she just got pissed off and blocked him
She should tell them to buy guns.

I’ve been indoctrinated to not talk about politics or religion or sexuality or blah blah blah when I’m in the office and not out doing my job with actual people. At this point, I’d probably just lock up if someone demanded politics at work.
