That one in the middle is a “nasty person.”

How are they going to do that with a republican house and senate?

Do you not know how congressional legislation is passed?

They can filibuster any bill so it doesn't pass unless 60 of the chamber's 100 all vote for it. The Republicans don't have that much of a majority.

The nuclear option has been used before. The precedent has already been set. A simple majority can be used to over turn the chair and bypass the rules.

So again how are the democrats going to stop the Republicans if the Republicans dont want to be stopped?

I don't think the nuclear option has been used before (or not in a long time) for legislation. Trump wanted to in 2017 and 2018 but Turtle said no.

I mean even Republicans are reluctant to use the nuclear option because it could be used against them. It's only been used two times in US history.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has previously dismissed that option in the past, saying Republicans will welcome the filibuster when they return to being the Senate minority.

I guess we'll see what happens.

The democrats used it to stop filibustering in 2013. Which I'm pointing out that filibustering has no power when a party controls the house and senate. If the Republicans want to push something through, they have the power to do so.

That was for lifetime judicial appointments.
It was to bypass the 60 votes need for cloture to succeed. A filibuster is just an extension of debate to delay proceedings with the vote. The nuclear option is when chair rules that the vote need to end debate failed is then is challenged. Then just a majority vote is needed to end the debate. After the debate is declared over a simple majority is need to pass whatever was being debated.
