Both times he has fought for a title it was a "f*ck you" to Stipe. Both times the fans lost out. He didn't even try. And if he did, if THAT was him trying, and he was #2 contender? It speaks volumes about the state of the HW division, Dana's commitment to the cheaper fight and not giving in to Stipe or Jones

He didn’t quit but his leg was blasted and he was tired plus his limited game plan was transparent to his opponent. He had nothing and his opponent didn’t get sloppy. Not that Lewis isn’t good but he ran into a skilled opponent who stayed in his face and tired him and damaged him.

Faked that he got eye poked about 3 times then did it at the end before he turtled up.

He always kinda looks like that. I don’t think it’s a fair criticism.

First of all, the guy kinda sucks and he knows it. And his back is shot. Even at his best he kinda has to stand there eating kicks and punches until he lands something big. He never looks comfortable doing it.

He kept getting cracked right in the eye and kicked right in the leg. Gane was being really light on his feet and careful and wasn’t gonna pull a Volkov.

Looked the exact same way against Cormier and JDS — a fish out of water, waiting to suffocate.
