Lets talk Donald Trump.

Right on my fellow Islander!

Trumps companies declared bankruptcy 4 times. Each way he did so to protect his own financial wealth, at the cost of his employees and health of his companies. Each time his board has negotiated in Trump getting less control of the company because of his poor business decisions.

So, if you are the type of voter that believes the United States should be run like a business (and I am not one of those people), is this really the guy you think is best for the job?

He came off as a clueless asshole in the first big debate

Hes gone soon

I don't know a whole lot about Trump, but one thing I know for certain is that he is NOT a politician. And that's a good thing in my estimation.

Politicians make a living out of telling you what you want to hear. That's how to get elected. Nevermind what's right and what's wrong--they will change their vocabulary, mannerisms, and even moral stances on important issues depending on who they're talking to. Because they want 1) your vote, and 2) the good graces of special interest groups.

Trump, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh air in the sense that he is willing to speak his mind, even if it's unpopular. Even if large segments of the population are going to respond with, "omg racist", he's telling it as he sees it. He's not pandering to you because he wants something from you.

For that reason, he strikes me as someone who, although I may not always agree with him, he will actually get shit done.

Anyone who is sick of our corrupt political system and overboard political-correctness in general should be at least giving this guy a chance.

No he's not. He's the guy who's issues gravitate around the idea of the 1% owning more wealth than the other 99% combined. Some of his big issues are wealth and income inequality, raising minimum wage to $15, making college and health care free for people. Since he's entered the race he's introduced 2 bills one to tax every trade on the stock exchange 50 cents. (He says this will provide the money for free college) and another bill banning "for profit" or private prisons.

Honestly he's more a social activist than a politician. He's for taxing corporations more and poor people less. He is also against super pacs.... man just google him or watch one of his videos on youtube. He's to the point and only speaks facts. Rare in a politician.

great! free education!

so after you rack up few BAs n n a masters, youll compete with other hipster liberals with same degrees to get that fancy 15$ minimum wage job at mcdonalds.

ppl nowdays dont want to work to get or achieve something. they want everything given to them on silver platter.

they want others to finance them through life, while they use their own money to travel around the world, drink Starbucks coffee n get the latest apple product.

If thats the definition of politician, then trump is the biggest politician running in both sides. Just compare what he is saying now to few years ago. I think Trump has exposed the conservative in America. As long as you are Republican and say what they want to hear, they dont care for your past or what you said in the past. If you want to see pandering, hear him talk about the bible and how its his favourite book. Come on now, does Trump really strike you as a religious guy? Atleast he was smarter than Palin when asked what his favourite verse is and didnt say all of them:icon_lol:

He's a spectacularly bad candidate, especially clueless on foreign policy, but people seem to hate politicians more than ever, and he's an anti-politician.

Trump is literally the worst candidate about doing this . He was hard left, and had talked a lot about how Hillary was a close personal friend. When he decided to be republican, he became hard right on every platform.

Trump is a protest vote. A bit smarter than Donkey voting but not by much.

This. Trump has been exposed as a major flip flopper years ago.

If i was an American, I'd vote Trump just to see the stupid idiotic liberals reaction on social media. "prepares popcorn"

While I will not vote for him I would like to see what he can do so maybe give him a 6 month trial run?

If not the Bern, I would love it if you Americans got Trump elected.

Would ensure the lulz in the media, and no real harm would come from him, I'm guessing that you have enough liberal safeguards to prevent him from causing any long term damage... right?

Trump is by far the best candidate right now.

All other republicans are either:

1. religious nuts n Isreali shills, who'll start ww3 if in power

or

2. are corporate/interest group shills.

On the democrat size 2 most popular candidates are Hillary (check republican #2) or that delusional socialist in sanders

In short... He's a joke. Making a mockery of our political system. People that support him are stupid. That is all.

Our political system has been a joke for sometime, he's just going with the flow.

That's why we need a president that's actually qualified. Not some clown that wants to continue the joke.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Bernie and even Hillary are much much more qualified to be potus. Trump is actually quite literally one of the worst options out there. I do commended his ability to appeal to the dumbest people in the country. He's an artist when it comes to that.

You must be a young person.... Who the hell ever wanted to pay $150,000 for college tuition? Better yet who can afford that? You are dumb to thank people don't want to work. Its simple... There are not enough job's supplied to meet the demands of the countries employment needs. That's fact.

People are delusional... There are not many poor people with apple products lol. Free college would be of great benefit to the "lower class" citizens of the world. Oh and some people look at education (especially higher education) as a right. Not a financial luxury.

Trump is the opposite of a breath of fresh air. Trump is a fart. He is a living breathing fart. Do not mistake being unique for being good. Insulting peoples looks and suggesting that they are menstruating is not a breath of fresh air.

Trump has no interest whatsoever in being President, he is doing this for attention and he will be out of the race before the Iowa caucus. Mark my words.
