MVG is doing goat type stuff the last few years which should draw comparison to Taylor, Taylor is the goat and MVG may never catch him but he is the only player who can. right now if MVG retired he would be behind Barney probably but its pretty clear that if MVG keeps this type pace up Barney will be at the top of the 2nd tier players with Taylor and MVG the only 2 players in the 1st tier

Triple 20s is worth more than the bullseye? That makes the bullseye fucking pointless

MvG 2015-17 is better than any version of Barney and close to peak Taylor, too.

Barney won his first title at 31, at 28 MvG already has 2. 4 of Barney's titles were with the BDO which is basically the amateurs.


MvG regularly averages 110+. Barney is capable of raising his game now and again but his ceiling is/was way lower than MvG's.


If MvG plays until he is 50 he will almost certainly win more than 5 World championships.

You're right in standard has improved a lot and that's to Taylor raising everyone game

Mvg is a natural and has talent to win more than 5 he might but I can't see it

Every one thought Bristow would win loads he was at peak and went downhill fast . Everyone is different



ATM Barney is the most successful Dutch player ever and 2 best ever

He's got some work to do catch Barney

Head to head they close too Barney is always up for it and mvg brings the best out of him probably more than Taylor

I think competition going for treble 20 is harder every time 1 and 5 either side miss you score shit



Bullseye is good when players go out on a 170 buzzing

A lot of players don't use it now as before as setting up shots
