You don't need high level striking to be succesful in MMA. Khabib destroyed Barboza who is one of the best strikers to compete in the sport, and who has great TDD.

If nobody can force you to stand and strike with them, then the fact that your striking is bad doesn't mean anything.

Its not a weakness if no one can exploit it.

His striking is embarrassing. He does well because his opponents usually keep their hands low to try to avoid the takedown, but his striking is actually terrible. I think confidence in his striking is going to cost him. He tends to get hit a lot before getting the takedown, and I don't think he can eat Conor's shots. I was originally on the "Khabib is going to destroy Conor" train, but I've changed my mind completely. Conor by KO.

His technique isn't textbook but in MMA it's very efficient. Just like GSP wasn't the best pure wrestler, turned out to be on of the best MMA wrestlers ever.

Aside from his striking, I actually don't think his stamina/endurance is all that great. That won't be a factor with Conor, whose cardio is worse, but against a guy like Tony it could be a major factor. Khabib is already not very fast.

Why are you trying to deflect and distract from the actual thread topic then? You respond to someone who said that he thought he lost to Tibau with the judges saw it differently, which is irrelevant to someone's opinion and with that Conor lost which is completely irrelevant to the whole subject.
