Even a prime Anderson would struggle against someone like Cormier. Cormier is the best fighter Anderson has ever faced outside of Hendo, period. And unlike Hendo, Cormier is a much bigger fighter with wayyyy better wrestling.

Silva's had takedown problem his entire career, especially with the better wrestlers. Pretty much everyone with a solid double was able to get him down. If they were coming aggressively and pressuring him, it only made it worse.

Cormier is the best pressure fighter he has ever faced. He'd have no issue taking down Silva down and beating him up. And it's not like Silva starched everyone. Cormier has shown he's a motherfucker to put away. And he'd be on top most of the fight anyways.

Bad fight for any version of Silva. Cormier wins that 7 or 8 times out of 10.
