This is a man who could EASILY be a Bantamweight and yet still went on to win 4 world titles in one of the most stacked divisions in LW. This in a sport where 99% of the fighters almost kill themselves to gain size advantage.

Frankie was always undersized and 100% reliable on his skill set that made him a all time great at LW and FW. Even in his losses he wouldn't get finished even when it could seem it was about to end (Maynard), this man is the true definition of a "P4P great" so let's appreciate that and what he has done so far in this sport when you think about this context.

He could have also declined this fight, turned this card into absolute dogshit and just wait for his titleshot but no, he took on a undefeated dangerous prospect because that's the kinda savage Frankie is.

Frankie is a savage, and he kinda had to fight at 155, but if he could "easily" make bantamweight he would probably be doing it. That being said he'll probably drop down now that he lost to Ortega.

And he never used being the smaller fighter as an excuse when he lost.

Jesus instead of giving Ortega any credit. All we've heard from Edgar fans how it's not his fault hes such a tiny wee Manlet and that he should of been fighting in the infant division instead.

None of that changes the fact that tonight Frankie got pwned badly

I’ll give Ortega some credit he’s a beast

frankie got his ass tapped tn. His only wins as a title holder were bj penn and gray maynerd lol

Can Ortega get some credit? Everyone of you was spouting off how Ortega was unproven and how ‘complete’ Frankie was. Give credit where it’s due. Congrats T City

Seriously there are more threads making excuses for Edgar than there are hyping up the undefeated up and comers who's finished everyone hes faced
Literally wtf are you talking about. This is no excuse, i'm not a particular fan of him. This is just my 2 cents on him as a fighter.

Brian Ortega is a beast, well deserved win and i can't wait to see him against Max Holloway. This is just a appreciation thread for Frankie and it's hilarious how triggered you got by it. If you don't like it or feel that there isn't enough threads about Brian fuck off from here and go make a thread about it.
