Let me guess, Fedor fans think prime CC will kill Gane?

How are ranked wins "overrated" just because he lost later?

That's comical logic, and I wonder if you are consistent to apply it to every fighter of the era and their performance later in their careers.

Because rankings are flawed.. You don't match up fighter A with Fighter B and know for sure that fighter A wins, based on the ranking system.. It's NOT a video game..

The sad part is you actually believe this delusion. Gabe Gonzaga was a glorified gatekeeper who got ragdolled by a 220lbs 45 year old man right after he beat the shit out of Cro Cop. I was lurking then, was a tough pill for Pride fanboys to swallow. Between that and Nog getting outboxed by Frank fucking Mir,(lmao) 2007 and 2008 were tough years for you guys.
Yup he def was a gatekeeper. Prob would have a belt or two if he was around now that’s how bad the level has regressed in recent years. For the heavies specifically. It was pretty cool though to see burnt out fighters from Pride come over and win some titles at the tail ends of their careers.

And Randy likely would have done the same to CC in the UFC.. Avoids the big kicks, pins him on the cage and beats him up..

There's no way Gane could do what elite strikers like Kevin Randleman and Gonzaga did. Those guys are basically the demigods of technical striking.

GSP got obliterated by elite striker Matt Serra.

Anderson got humiliated by elite fighters like Takase and Chonan.

Half the division would obliterate these bums.

Prime Cro Cop before 6 surgeries after leaving Pride would be a great fight with Gane. Both world class kickboxers. Fedor would smash Gane. The greatest ground and pound in the history of mma, world class sambo, who smashed Nogueira on the ground, vs. a guy Ngannou held down for 2 rounds.

Fedor's success came from being undersized. Had a speed and quickness advantage, while still being explosive, like bucking up on the ground and punching power.

That's why it makes sense he loses to Hendo, as Hendo's only 200 pounds at best, but with more speed than HW's, and yet with a HW punch. It's also that his 10-year-run was over. Lost to Werdum, got mauled by BF, so Hendo got the pieces.

Mirko vs Gane, both in their prime, would've been a good one. Gane's bigger, yet also quicker, while Mirko's strikes were harder, he was more explosive than Gane. I'd give the edge to Gane, because he's taller. Can stay at range choosing his shots, as Mirko's also a range kickboxer, looking to line up the left side attack. Going with volume over 1-shot LHK.
Gane is more skilled, wider range of strikes, much better head movement, footwork, and better chin. Randleman with very limited striking skills would never ko Gane the way he did Crocop.

Yeah, tell that to Tai

He evaded majority of Tai's attacks, which wasn't easy since Tai can hit pretty fast. Tai also has a much better chin than Crocop or Fedor.

My point is, Randleman is 100% more athletic than Tai sir, he also was a massive takedown threat at the time.

If he dropped to level change like he did to Crocop, Gane would've flinched too, and he would eaten the same punch.

That punch would've dropped Gane just like Crocop, and Randleman would've gotten on top of him snd hammer fisted him unconscious just like that.

Unless of course Gane didn't freeze for the millisecond...then he would've gotten double legged and we all know how easy it is for him to get out from the bottom.

Difference there is Randleman had devastating knees from top position to the head and body.
Can't say I agree sir.
