He looked great. And to still be THAT fast and powerful in the 3rd round of a competitive fight is something we don't often see from newcomers. Looking forward to his next fight.
You guys worry about age way too much. Most guys don't even last 5 years in the UFC and usually the earlier you start the quicker you're out of the sport.
Can I take the #25 spot on your list?
Been a hater since the Poirier fight.
Um, you clearly didn't get the context of my post. If you're debuting in the UFC at 31 in one of the deepest divisions, your chances of making any noise in the rankings are slim. He's already past his athletic prime (mid to late 20's), and considering most guys fight maybe twice a year, he'll be 33 or 34 before he has a chance to crack the Top 10 and push his way to a title shot...and that's IF he doesn't lose during this 2-3 year period of working his way up the ladder.
Uhm yes I do know you're point.
Please tell Daniel Cormier, Yoel RoMero, Robbie Lawler, Anderson Silva and the dozens of other guys who excelled into their late thirties or even early 40s
I'm not there? interesting
Shit, I miss a single card and all of a sudden there is a name I've never heard of being groomed to be a threat to the top of a very top heavy division.
Fuck. Was it that impressive guys?
