Less Appreciated Record Holding Champ: Stipe or Demetrious?

Title pretty much sums it up, which champion is appreciated less, Stipe or Demetrious?

My vote? I'd probably say Stipe due to the fact that he was the betting underdog in his match against Ngannou, despite already defending the title twice, and clearly being the more well-rounded fighter.

I’d say Mighty Mouse, people seem to at least respect stipes skill set whereas Johnson is probably more skilled but less respected due to his diminutive stature

but to answer the question, i think this is one of those deals where folks who like MM will say him and folks who don't will say Stipe.

some folks really dislike MM. others don't dislike him per se, but are resentful of his "#1 P4P" or "most well rounded" stature that others give him, they take it out on MM. and of course others dislike him for his stance on moving to 135 (e.g. "if you pay me enough, i will come").

no one dislikes Stipe, they just wish his division had more depth.

Yeah it's pretty good. Absolutely miles away from GOAT or P4P anything. Only thing he is goat of is goat flyweight from being the only champion.

Torres is an overrated win. Horguchi is also an overrated win. Dodson was shot from injuries by the second fight.

MM i don't know anyone he fought but Cruz and Borg.. He is in his own weight class doing his own thing. Do I appreciate that no. I don't think anyone cares. All the bad passes are 10 lbs heavier he's staying lighter for a reason.

Lol Torres was the BW GOAT back then. Horiguchi hasnt even lost to anyone besides DJ. No idea how you call those overrated.

If DJ is miles away from GOAT then so is Fedor. The cans he fought during his run are worse than anyone DJ has fought.
