I don't think we're in for a major war, but I think that Trump would launch something crazy to retain power. As for a recession?

I'd say that all signs point to yes. The sad thing about it is that if Trump would've just coasted on the Biden plan, we'd still be looking at economic growth.

“We will charge them approximately half of what they are and have been charging us,” said Trump

Trump has already started a major war simply by not understanding Tarriffs , billions of dollars of food is already set to go to waste after yesterdays announcement and the stock market will continue to spiral after the 5th with more Tarriff announcements .

Saturday Night Live should continue to have a field day with him .

Well this will not go over well in Washington.

"
Just hours after President Donald Trump announced massive new tariffs on nearly all imports to the United States, a bipartisan group of senators made the first push to stop the most nonsensical part of Trump's global trade war.

With a 51-48 vote, the Senate approved a resolution to block Trump's tariffs on imports from Canada, which he imposed by declaring an economic emergency in early February. The measure to cancel that emergency declaration, sponsored by Sens. Tim Kaine (D–Va.) and Rand Paul (R–Ky), faces an uncertain future in the Republican-controlled House and a near-certain veto if it reaches Trump's desk—but it also represents a small glimmer of hope, as it is the the first serious attempt by Congress at limiting the president's ability to smash free trade.

Paul was joined by three other Republicans—former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R–Ky.), as well as Sens. Susan Collins (R–Maine) and Lisa Murkowski (R–Alaska)—and nearly all Democrats in voting to end the economic emergency."

Funny just weeks after DOGE shutdown the FTC or parts of it. Under normal situations this deal would need congressional approval.

"
Elon Musk struck what could be considered the biggest deal of the year, and he broke all the normal rules.
Musk’s splashy merger of the social-media company X and his artificial-intelligence startup xAI values the combined company at over $110 billion.
That would be a blockbuster deal on Wall Street. But this one is unorthodox, even by Musk’s standards, for a whole host of reasons.
Read more about the megadeal few public companies could get away with.

Yeah, there was no way that deal was above board.

Mark Cuban suggests filling all your storage space with 'lots of consumables' from big box stores after Trump's tariff announcement

"Mark Cuban has a suggestion for Americans: "Buy lots of consumables now."

Cuban made a post on Bluesky on Wednesday shortly after President Donald Trump announced sweeping tariffs that would hit more than 180 countries.

"It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory," Cuban wrote.

"Even if it's made in the USA, they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs," Cuban added.

Cuban declined to comment further when approached by Business Insider."

Better to have a well-stocked pantry and deep freezer now than to get gouged later. Even if Trump reverses the tariffs, I feel the prices won't come crashing back down at a quick pace.

I'm a nonviolent person but this interaction would make me want to fill that elevator with uppercuts.

The terminal tds sufferers can’t even bother staying with their theme of pretending trump supporters are complaining. They are just straight up posting their tds grifters.
