There's a new wave of cruiser weight guys and some seem to have some decent BJJ, one in particular stands out: TJ Perkins has some slick subs (and some BS ones too)

There are honestly quite a few guys who could make a better showing than Punk with commensurate training and preparation. The obvious ones are Brock, Bobby Lashley and Alberto Del Rio (highlight reel KO against Pride Cro Cop notwithstanding, he actually compiled a winning MMA record). Jack Swagger was a two time ncaa all American at OSU and Dolph Ziggler set a few records wrestling at Kent State so they probably wouldn't be total noobs.
