Left vs Right: Which leg do YOU lead with?

I use the same as my opponent, so both. I do switch here and there, but I'm usually most comfortable when I have the same foot forward as my opponent, but the weird thing is I have the same approach to striking in MMA I drill mostly with my left foot forward because that is where I prefer to be, and my game is different depending on which leg i have forward. Like I generally shoot better for doubles with my right leg forward and prefer clinch and single legs with my left foot forward.

Also, interesting choice on the username....

Oh, this is awkward. Sorry man, I should've guessed someone would've had the same kind of name. Mine's a play on Joey Styles the wrestling commentator. And yeah, I'm known for my triangle.

1) When standing in Wrestling/Judo/BJJ which leg do you personally place forward as you attempt to shoot/sweep/etc?

2) Are you left or right handed? Edit: As in which hand you write with

3) Do you find any advantage when you are facing someone who uses the opposite stance? What do you normally try against them?

Cheers!

1. Right. I will shoot from the other stance though if I happen to have that foot out.

2. Right

3. If they have the opposite stance I'll go for single leg.

1. Left

2. I throw with right, right foot dominant. write with my left.

3. Yes and high crotches work well

Right leg lead and I am also right handed. I feel an advantage when my opponents leads with his left leg, if that's what you mean by opposite stance, because it opens up the low single especially, and also the ankle pick.
