He would be a huge draw for sure but I highly doubt he would have ended up UFC champion unless with extremely favourable match up.

Silva was going to decision with Jeremy Horn as well by the time he fought Murray, apart from the Chonan loss, but anyways aren't guys willing to stand with Murray who would give him the most problems. Lee didnt know how to wrestle, did you see how he defended Rivera or even Silva's TDs? Bad, really bad technique. I think even a guy as Tanner would take him down and maul him there.

Also, by the time Murray got in UFC, the MW division started to get strong by signing many young fighters who would be bad match up for Lee as Marquardt, Okami, Leites or Maia.

I think it is a damn shame Tito never got the opportunity to actually fight this guy in the octagon. Because in my opinion at that stage, we are talking about a young/peak Tito he wins that fight by unanimous decision. Tito in his heyday had a dominant double leg takedown with great cardio, and he was incredibly difficult to submit. I think he wins the fight rather Handily..
