Stockton on the second team is a joke.

How so? Name two pure point guards in NBA history better than him? Kidd? Peyton? Can't think of any personally right now. Even calling Magic a pg is a stretch, but he was just that good everywhere, so it's acceptable. Meanwhile, Stockton was a 20/10 man for a decade-and-a-half, also being an adequate defender, all-time assists leader, and went to finals twice during the Jordan era. I'd say he's earned his spot.

Jim Sockton was a product of Carl Melon. Big O, Zeke, and Glove could All be your PGs over Jim.

Your 2nd team would get absolutely besmirched by your 3rd. Which one of your 200 pound guards would be guarding 270 pound Bern?

Another 3+ teams could be created using players that you didn't, to absolutely embarrass your 2nd team as well.

Stockton was never a 20/10 guy, and what does him making the Finals, have to do with him playing in the Jordan era... he played in the West.

First Team
Magic Jonston - PG
Mihchi Jordain - SG
Bern Jams - SF
Legend Bird - PF
Snaq - C

No one is stopping that line up.

Stockton-Malone was a symbiotic relationship. There's no way Malone would have been as great on just any team; there's also no way Stockton wouldn't have been great on any team. Ok, may have slightly overrated him, but certainly he is one of the greatest distributors of the ball in history, if not the best.

As far as the rest of 2nd vs 3rd team, I'm comfortable with it. If they played, no one's winning in under 6, and I'd wager 2nd team takes it. As far as "who guards Bern?", you act as if the guy plays like a power-forward. He's a penetrator/spot-up shooter, not a banger. You guys are equating muscles with a power game, which stylistically doesn't represent Bern. His additional mass doesn't give him an advantage over Kobe based on their respective playing styles. Frankly, I'd be more concerned about being besmirched by Barkley or KAJ than any of the backcourt. Besides which, who's gonna stop Kobe? Or Oscar for that matter.

Edit: as far as Jordan era, the whole league was absolutely stacked backed then, including the West. Jazz had Rockets, Suns, Spurs, etc to compete with just to get to the finals. And if His Airness(ie the GOAT) had stayed retired, probably would have won a couple of rings.

Magic, Oscar Rob, Thomas, Kidd all better players.

Lol nobody is embarrassing anybody on that 2nd team with Kobe and Wilt in there. Too much alpha for the weak minded 3rd team.

Kobe in his prime would nullify LolBron so hard, it would be a joke. Hell even Kobe out of his prime has made LolBron look like a lumbering goof. You have to remember, LolBron is a great player, but lacks a lot of tools in his skillset. If he had Kobe's, Jordan's or Hakeem's footwork then... damn, uhhh we'd all be singing a lot more realistic tunes around here, but he doesn't. He relies on his athleticism and that works great against a lot of people, but not people who know the game. LolBron would get a lil bit of his with Kobe guarding him, but would be surely nullified to a laughable status.

Crappy post game + low level footwork + mediocre off the ball =

Bron is great, just not the greatest.

That's all there is to the argument.

Kinda pulled a self-besmirch in a way here by supporting a post in which the poster utterly besmirches himself.

He called LeRoid a spot up shooter... with no power game...

The guy is all roid rage, and all power game. His entire game is gracelessly bulldozing his way into the paint with defenders bouncing off of him.

You self besmirched a self besmirch there Palp. Don't jump the gun so quickly. My points still stand.

Quote me where I said he doesn't posses a power game. Difference between not having one and under-utilizing one. And being primarily an aggresive penetrate-and-dish guy with a spot-up shooter game to compliment is not the same as employing a true power game, ie playing the low-mid post. And just for the record, Kobe > Bron. Flame away.

So is Raymond Felon. Does he play a power game? How about every other player who's game is centered on getting into the paint? Feel free to read the besmirchee, gspdiddler's, post directly below yours.

Lol @ you adjusting your definition of "power game", to suit your needs.

Not according to science.

Juice was petrified of the prime one true. Sources say that @ the redeem team practices the one true absolutely slaughtered everyone day in and day out. G.H., juice, melon, etc. Can't blame them though, the prime one true was the ABSOLUTE pinnacle of basketball skill and talent. Nobody will ever come close to those levels again.
