Why even have weight classes when a 24 hour window to rehydrate after weight cut, has some fighters able to fight 20 to 25 pounds heavier, realistically at up to 2 weight classes difference.
Tito Ortiz was a master weight cutter and was always significantly heavier than his opponents at the time of their fights. If that's not an advantage, I don't know what is.

Yeah it's more of a community chat thing.


The problem with making threads during fight cards is that most regular Sherdog posters aren't really looking at the main forum right now so new threads don't usually get much traction.
