Who’s your pick for the fighter with the least amount of skills that still managed to make it to a title fight in the ufc? I’m talking about fighters who never won the belt, so Carla Esparza and Nicco Montano don’t count as an answer lol

I’ll start with an old one, John Alessio fought Pat Miletich for the welterweight title back at ufc 26. Alessio lost and ended up going 0-5 in the ufc. After his long mma career ended he became an Uber driver in Vegas.

I think the issue was probably more that he wasn't listening to the mods. I don't think he should have been banned either, but blatant trolling while you have double yellows is kind of like a fuck you to the mods.

It got me going back into some of my old DVDs and having a laugh at some old Pride fights. I’d be willing to bet the mod that banned him was either on a power trip or lacked knowledge of MMA back in the day. Possibly both.

Jens pulver didn’t deserve the shot against bj. He was coming off a loss to lauzon who couldn’t even win tuf. Still a huge Jen’s fans though.

Sorry if this was responded to already, but bj wasn’t the champ yet during the second fight, that was bj’s first fight back to ufc 155. After that fight he got to fight Joe Stevenson for the title
