I haven't watched a Bond film in who knows how long, but I guess I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing today's ass eating celebrities.

Small parts in some Hollywood stuff like Ghost Protocol(gets kicked off a sky scaper) and Scott's Robin Hood earlier in her career, really though besides Bond most of her career has been in the French art scene and a few English lanage arty films like The Lobster(very good) and Zoe(not so good).

The stuff with her in Morocco and Mr White in Spectre was by far the best part of that film IMHO.

The differences really just seem like style and posing to me, she has a tendency to look very different as those things alter. Same year as the second picture she was arguably looking her most feminine in Diary of a Chambermaid.

I think she'd actually do best in Hollywood in more villainous roles, she plays the cold psycho bitch very well indeed.

The director wanting to change the characters names to those of the actresses does tend to suggest looking to blur the lines a bit I spose. I suspect she viewed that film as a capoff of being the sexy girl of choice in French cinema for the previous few years, arguably passing that role to her co star.
