no one mentioning the strikes Lawler gave to Askren ?
cause that's the one thing from that fight that keeps playing in my head.
Agreed like a mofoLawler is my favorite welterweight of all time. Covington supports trump and is a good shit talker. I want him to fight Kamara Snoozeman or Tyquill Woodley so i wouldnt mind him winning.

It's not though. And his arm fell but he instantly repositioned his hand on the mat when it fell. His arm falling is grounds for the ref to check consciousness . A sessioned ref like herb should have payed attention to the fighter when he did his check. Robbie responded 2 ways. One by pulling his arm back and 2 by giving the thumbs up. Herb missing those singles is the issue. And any rational MMA fan should be upset with that result. Refs ending fights by error is a blemish on the sport no matter who you want to win the fight. Again your wrong. Maybe you havnt seen all the angles but he was never out or unconsciousRobbie's arm going limp as a noodle is already grounds for stopping the fight. A veteran like Robbie definitely understands that doing something like that is the absolutely last thing you want to do when you're locked in a choke with the ref breathing down your neck. Robbie was out, at least momentarily, which, again, is reason enough to stop the fight.
