Exactly sir, she's "ok" but nothing special.
She has pretty eyes , but that doesn't make her better at commentating.
I don't think she's as good as people are saying she is.
I think breath of fresh air is a perfect way to put it. She is
different. Mostly from being female, yeah, but also a female that has accomplished a level of BJJ that 99% of people who train never make it to, and as a female competitor/combat sport participant, far less than 1% of the females I've trained sign up to do a cage fight, god forbid a professional cage fight. So she has a lot of unique attributes and compared to just some interviewer who hasn't/doesn't train at all I think she has a leg up. DC and Rogan, etc. will all be speaking a shared language with her as opposed to, say, Goldberg, who as far as I know didn't train at all and you could tell. Not that he needed to, but I think it certainly helps when you know what D1 wrestlers, BJJ black belts, etc. are talking about in real time. Anik gets a pass because he's been so passionate about the sport for so long he keeps up just fine.
As far as her physical looks, not that they're all that important by themselves, but as an overall package they certainly help. I'm not going to go tit for tat with you about how attractive she is, mostly because it's a rabbit hole. If I find her a 10 and you a 5, that says more about our personal preferences than her.
She's also very green. I think as a starting point she's exceeded expectations. When you get guys in the booth of any sport, former athletes or not, they tend to suck ass initially and find a groove within a year or two. It doesn't help that in other sports your tag team partner is pretty consistent and in this league one week you have a bloviating drunk like DC or a pothead coming down off shrooms Rogan and the next week you have Anik.
Her voice is a bit shrill, not sure if there's much you can do about that.
tl;dr she is doing ok and breast of fresh air is the perfect way to see it imho
