Summary.

Don't get too excited on GSP's return, might take some time to close a deal.
Reebok is the main problem with GSP being with UnderArmour.

Khabib will win easy, even after 2yrs without fighting

He feel bad for Dan Henderson, who's gonna miss a payday because of Machida.
Say's Hendo is one of is favorite fighter ever.

He is a little sad that Shogun pull out and Glover took his place.
He wanted to see Shogun Vs Rashad fight.

9 weeks before fighting Cowboy Cerrone.
Everything going well in trainning camp.
He is in shape, currently weight 210lbs, won't have any problem making 170.

Good stuff.

Love me some Cote. Great fighter and seems to be improving as well.

Granite chin, hands of stone.

Cote is going to blast through Cowboy, Cowboy looks so fragile at 170lbs.

Cowboy looks fragile when fighting top competition. I think Cote finishes cowboy. good camp, heavy hands and can take a punch.

Yeah he is improving, that's crazy when you think about it..
He fought Tito at UFC 50 ffs...
We are closing on UFC 200 and he is better than ever.

He is absolutely better than ever Sonny.

Won 5 out of last 6. Only loss being Wonderboy, who landed BIG shots on Cote, Patrick never went down.

I think he slaughters Cowboy in Ottawa. Way too big, Cerrone will have a hard time getting Cote down, and he sure isn't KO'ing Cote either.

Been a fan of Cote since I saw him put that beating on McFedries. Awesome seeing finally putting it all together and at the right weight class.

I love Cote and I know it's 9 weeks out, but camp should not be about getting in shape. It should be about training for your opponent. That's way to big for a WW to blow up to.

Not when you live in the food heaven that is Quebec. A simple diet change can get him down to 185 -190 in 3 weeks easy, which is a good weight for a 6 week camp targeting 170.

Well he walk around that weight.
It's not like he's fat!
He's a former LHW and MW.
Never seem to have trouble making 170 in his last few fight.

I love Quebec. It's probably my favourite part of Canada and I have literally been to every place imaginable. St. Hubert is on every corner there so you can eat roasted chicken and veggies any time you want. Think about it though. 3500 calories for 1 lb of fat... that's 70,000 calories to burn in three weeks in excess of what you consume to get down to 190lbs.

He walks around chubbier than he has to be. I met him and have a pic with him. People need to take a card out of the GSP book and stay in shape year round.

I get what you are saying, especially about staying in shape all the time, but losing the weight isn't that difficult if it's put on by food/booze (when was his last fight?); it'll melt off w/ a diet change.

Would it make you feel more comfortable about Cote's commitment and headspace if he appeared in shape year round? Because I could understand that.

its not his commitment and headspace I am so much worried about. I think this yo-yo dieting isn't good and can affect his performance from a cardio and speed standpoint. I wanna see Cote do really well an I would hate to see things like large weight cuts impact his performances.

There's something wrong any MMA fan who doesn't like Cote. Cote v Cowboy is going to be a fun fight.
