Lando is legitimately skilled but unrefined and goes in with lackluster gameplans. I think he can pull off a win tho.

I dont think the problem is in his gameplanning.

The problem with Lando is that he is 100% offense but has one of the worst defenses I have ever seen. Dude has been blessed with an iron chin but when guys are patient they can land all night long.

100% offensive is obviously an exaggeration.

If you don't see the difference in defense between the Teymur & Green fight... then you aren't paying attention. Don't be hypnotised by the fact that Lando bruises easier.

Don't get me wrong... I think he still needs work... but he's obviously been working on it... & all reports show that he's working on it tirelessly since.

Nobody wants a sparring session in the octogon... including Groovy... so give him some slack for showing up to fight... but also try to notice the advances he is making to be able to engage in a good fight with his obviously advancing defense.

Groovy's been in the lab with a hired grappling coach for a year. Add that on to his previous success in wrestling & I think he will do just fine.

Teymur only had successful TD's due to the surprise that he even attempted it... & to his credit he had the timing to pull it off... but he couldn't hold Groovy down... so there's really no issue that we've seen. Ad to that Groovy getting better.
