I'm not sure if you are in the position to judge whether or not he should keep earning money.
 
It felt like Fedor is too weak to wrestle and grapple anymore, and the power in his punches isn't enough for a KO anymore. Personally I think that if he is not willing to take PED at his age than he should retire for the sake of his health, because if he is only going to strike from now on, his reflexes and speed aren't there.

He's part owner of M-1. Plus he has some good connections. He'll do fine.

I think Fedor needs to retire again after that one. He looked really bad. A lot like the sloppy brawling Fedor from the 3 fights he lost except with a worse chin because he is 40. I thought for sure after the first round he would take Maldonado down but he just kept swinging with his hands down. As soon as he walked out I thought he looked bad and was worried. If he stays around he is going to end up like Liddell, Big Nog, Hughes, Penn, Cro Cop, etc.
 
He looked like an old brawler in there, only positive was the sweet cage turns.

Should definitely retire
 
That was an entertaining fight. I still think it was a draw, but obviously Fedor will get the decision there.

Hendo was 41 when he beat Fedor as well

Werdum won the belt at 37

The average top 10 UFC HW is like 36 or something

Guy was a beast in pride but fought lots of cans and lost to top UFC comp years ago

Losing to Maldonado, who is 36, tailormade for fedor to beat with little KO power, no ground game or cardio as well as a "UFC reject" is pretty damn embarassing any way you look at it. Even the crowd was like wtf inbetween rounds

lol mods are deleting posts now. Put it this way, Fedor lost when he was at a good prime age as well. He was simply overrated for many years.

That's a newbie argument.

All fighters age different. Some fighters are pretty much done in their early 30's, some are at their peak in their late 30's.

Can't believe i have to teach this to people.
