Lada Niva (4x4)

A buddy of mine wheeled one way back when and said it's great for what it is. Simple, capable beater you can fix with a hammer and foul language. I'd fuck around in one off road but doubt I'd use one as a daily. For that you want a Trabi. Preferably a two stroke. Lol

So are VW. Our actuaries who do data for quality of used cars in terms of cost of repairs, time of repairs, and cost of parts...won't even let us put one with over 36k on our used car lots. Huge issues with turbos, head gaskets, and transmissions. Also loads of electrical issues.

In America in a region with all 4 seasons, what kind of vehicle should I buy? I like the city but don't live there, I move around people and occasionally some wood and tools.

vw always have been trash, that’s their one reliable point you can count on.

I dunno about the Lada but Yugo = best communist automobile

It's a weaboo but for soviet culture?
I think it's a weaboo for Slavic culture in general, not just from the Soviet times. According to urban dictionary anyway.

As a car its terrible, but it is more a tractor and has been used as a tractor in Russia.
Its capable off road, light weight.
There was I cant find it now a UK test video, at the beginning the tester was laughing at the Lada.
But ended up liking it. He also had to pull the camera crews 4x4 that got stuck.

I wish the new owner Renault IIRC would make a retro looking 4x4 and update it to modern engine and stuff.
I saw a drawing of the new one and it looked like a Dacia clone.

Just get a John Deer 110, it can take you from Iowa to Wisconsin.

Wow it makes me feel nostalgic seeing a young Willie Nelson on his first tour. Imagine having to drive around in a kiddy tractor while living a shitty homemade trailer with your family and band. Willie earnt his success for sure

It's mainly for Russian culture. Maybe it's more appropriate to call them Rusophiles. Slavaboos don't care about the other slavs.

We also have these people called tankies. They are weird as shit and I am not sure they are kidding or not when I meet them.

Yeah I think Russophiles makes more sense if they're just into Russian culture not other Slavs.
