Media KZ's pay is embarrassing

I don't know how it works in South Korea but in Israel they don't fuck around. You do your military service or you go to prison. You can get medical exemptions there or educational exemptions (if you are studying to be a doctor for example) but otherwise pretty much everyone does their service.

I actually think its a really good concept. I served in the Canadian military and took a great deal away from it. Imagine if Canada and the US had mandatory military service. All those fat lazy fucks would have to go out and spend a couple of years getting in shape and actually learning useful skills.
Pretty much the same deal. The penalty is super steep and you can lose your citizenship over it.

There is huge controversy in Korea right now because they have deals set up for some sports stars, namely professional futbol-lers and olympians who can skip conscription based if they gold medal.

Theres a pop band called BTS thats under major scrutiny because they've actually done more for the country ($$) than gold medalers who bring shit tons of recognition and mullah who are being considered for this as well right now. And it makes sense. Why take these people out of their primes to serve the country in a shitty 2 year service when they can be doing so much more for the country in other ways.

Here's KZ's video today where he breaks down a lot of his cost and expenses to move 4 team members and his wife to do a 50 day fight camp in America

He doesn't specify amounts for taxes to both the U.S. (30% - 40%), and taxes to Korea, payment & travel insurance for his team members, a contracted percentage of his winnings going to the coaches, and personal loss/cost for taking care of things in Korea (family & his gym) while in the US, but he comes to a cost of well over $50,000.00.

*edit

If the costs he covered in the video above applied to these 3 fights above, it means he's netted less than $130,000 total for those three fights, $49k of which was due to win bonuses. He was basically guaranteed to net less than $27,000 a fight

Actually he had military service, and in the USA military duty saves you from being terminated for missing time due to said service. So try again, dumbass
He was not in the US military....

The pay in the OP is BS. I don't think Zombie's pay has been publicly disclosed on a card since 2012, no one knows what he's really making.

Those are bullshit numbers
We don't know what he's making
They should pay him good money though cause they consider him a big name at FW. He's one of the few FW that ALWAYS headlines

From the perspective of the party that pays, it really doesn't matter the reason you don't show up much. That's all my point was. Im not knocking him for serving mandatory military service.

Sorry if you read it that way. Should have said "Be available for work half the time"
That really has nothing to do with what he gets paid though

Is it that he didn't show up or couldn't? I guess I'm not sure if he actually misses scheduled fights for whatever reasons or didn't have fights scheduled at all.

If he doesn't like it, then he can go to Bellator. He should be thanking Dana for those fight bonuses.

KZ is probably the most beloved fighter world wide... i feel he should get at least $1 mil. a fight...

Pure idiocy in this thread. You get paid what you draw. This ain’t a PPV. Go start a go fund me for the guy and quit crying about how much money he makes.

1. open to this list here.
2. scroll to the bottom
3. work your way up.
4. find a name you recognize.

OMG I can't believe how low they pay ...
  • 529 Daniel Teymur* $ 13,500
  • 472 Artem Lobov* $ 22,000
  • 443 Marvin Vettori $ 24,000
  • 413 Nikita Krylov* $ 31,000
The moral of this story is....do we really have to have brand new mock outrage each and every time we learn one fighter's salary? When we all already know that most of them get paid less than we think they would or should?!?

TKZ isn’t just “some fighter” though, he’s one of the most exciting dudes there is.

that isn't his pay though, he made a video about it and said he is being paid handsomely and is happy with it

These are fake numbers. Zombie hasnt fought somewhere that lists his payout in years. Its funny you tards still believe this shit.
