I've had my shoulder pop out from a sports injury and it took years and years before it stopped happening again. Granted I didn't rehab it like you should if you were a pro athlete, but even simplest of motions could make it pop out. It happened a lot playing basketball, but after I did it, I remember it popping out again when I was doing a 'box jump'. Even now if I hold my arm straight up and move it to the left, it will usually make a popping noise, though it doesn't hurt. Definitely pretty G of him to finish the fight, let alone win it.
