The IBF called for an eliminator between Pulev and Whyte around a month ago. The WBC called for the eliminator between Whyte and Ortiz around a week ago.

He’d be a fckin fool to fight Ortiz as the wbc are fckin him around. He’s already won an eliminator and now he is behind Breazeale and needs to fight another eliminator? Wilder doesn’t want to fight him either so he may get a shot at the wbc belt in 2020?
Or fight pulev with Joshua next up. Far bigger fight, more money and easy to make

No more so than Ortiz. Boxing over here is on a high at the moment and either fight would be of interest to the locals

I’d prefer to see him fight Ortiz as that’s a very good fight (that I think he loses). But I can understand why he is likely to fight pulev. No doubt some will say that he’s ducking Ortiz, but this is his route to a title shot within 6 - 12 months potentially. Not a fan of whyte but I do respect the fact that he’ll fight anyone

I actually thought Povetkin/Whyte was coming and I was very game for that one. Lost a lot of interest in Pulev since 2014. Still a bit interested.
