Marcelo is king at this weight. I think the only one who might beat him with technique alone, not strength and athleticism, is Rafa Mendes.

If someone is Marcelo's size/weight or smaller, the smart money is on him.

Marcelo is past his prime, but anyway I don't see him losing. Also Kron wants to focus to MMA, so I'd say that he wont develop his "sport BJJ" that much.

Both guys are great jujiteiros but Marcelo is kind of a legend of this sport while Kron is "just" one of the best in my mind.

Finally their last fight isn't THAT old.

I just wish I could see Marcelo compete... period. I'd be thrilled if he was doing Grapplers Quest.

Also Kron hasn't been so active lately, but he just won ADCC by subbing all his opponents, which is very Marcelo-esque of him.
