But i remember hearing his name, and he was somehow hyped by people.

Was he always crumpy and borderline autistic as he appeared before, during and after his last fight ? Did he indulged in heavy weed consumption surrounding himself with our beloved stockton finest ?

Suffice to say it was not likely a scholarly focused childhood, on top of not having a native English speaking household and personal tragedy.

People here laugh at Kron because he's an easy target, but the dude won a ridiculous number of world class matches and became a ADCC world champion. Your name doesn't grant you that, you have to earn it. Kron did it against a backdrop of horrific loss and all the pressure that comes with his lineage.

He looked like a completely green MMA fighter coming off a multi-year layoff, because both of those things are true.

Thanks for the context. But, to be fair, he didn't look like an MMA fighter at all, layoff or otherwise. He looked like a guy who thought he'd entered another bjj tournament. It's hard to understand from an MMA perspective. It's downright baffling.

But it's good to keep in mind his bjj accolades and family background. I feel like he should probably watch some MMA matches to get a sense of just how off he is. I could be wrong, but I imagine he doesn't watch any MMA footage. He should watch the whole card he was on just to get a sense of how modern MMA fighters fight and how peculiarly he stuck out.

Kron is too far up his own ass to adapt to MMA. The beating Cub Swanson gave him taught him nothing.

Kron had a total of 6 career MMA fights, people with that low experience level don't belong in the UFC other than extraordinary circumstances.

So he's not only ridiculously lacking in experience, he hadn't fought in nearly 4 years, on top of being a specialist.

Too many things working again a BJJ guy living in Montana.
 
He just looks way too much like Rickson and it keeps making people believe he is wise. He just isn't.

His first MMA fight was 11 years ago. He's had some time to check out MMA footage.
