Korean Zombie is a legend!

This is why you are a biased MMA fan. Gomi was losing overseas before he already made his UFC debut. It's not like he only fought Japanese people overseas. People do fall out of their physical prime especially if they don't have a gym to train at and drink all the time. I can agree that fighters in the past aren't as polished as fighters today but that is true for all fighters. It's not a race thing. It isn't a Japanese vs Korean thing like you automatically default to. You completely ignore my original statement of a legend like Sakuraba facing off with another legend of the sport in Royce. You just zoom into Sakuraba being Japanese and ignore Royce.

Gomi for years was consensus number 1 or 2 in the world. What was Zombie's highest rank? How long did he hold on to that? What were his showcase fights? Were they high stakes? I don't even want to critique KZ. I believe he is an awesome exciting fighter but he isn't a legend. He might be pioneer of the sport in Korea but I can argue Yul Chul Nam was the original Korean pioneer in MMA. He was doing that when the sport wasn't even popular in Korea.

Making it twice to fight for a title is better than any achievement an Asian born male has ever done.
Gomi having a title in corrupt Pride where people knowingly took dives on behalf of Japanese fighters isnt legend status
