Do it and make sure to include white fans as part of the segregation. They'll be making WNBA salaries in no time.

Kick him off whatever team he plays for. Get rid of his sponsors.
Onwards...
He's right. Economically, black athletes should be considering ownership of their own sports leagues. Since 78% of the NBA is comprised of black athletes it would make sense to start a black owned league and siphon talent from the NBA.
Of course, that would require some significant pay cuts in the early years. But I'm sure some of them would feel that it's worth it.

No backlash? No suspension? No fine? No calling for his job?
I've always wondered when I'd be able to use this picture.

Makes sense to me.
If I was a black athlete, I'd be sick of other groups making money (perhaps even exploiting) from my people.
Also- fuck the NCAA, the blood sucking leaches.
true...in the short term. Lbj's decision pissed a lot of fans off. He's now the #1 selling jersey. Kobe pissed off a lot of fans with the rape allegation he regained his popularity over time.
The ravens are still popular in the nfl. The oklahoma thunder are very popular in the nba. Changed entire cities and still thrived.
White fans will pay for tickets to black owned sports leagues as long as the product remains solid. Why wouldn't they? They don't pay to watch the owners.

I disagree. Pro sports has always been an outlet for people to make obscene salaries for playing a game. The athletes get more from the game than the game gets from them. Yes, star players sell a ton of jerseys and endorsements. But someone would fill that void if they weren't there. Although the quality of the game may not feature the best players, people would watch regardless of who was playing.
The team makes hundreds of millions from players. The players make more than enough to live. But compared to what the team and league makes is crumbs.
Yes, but there's plenty of athletes that would take their place. The revenue can be created by other athletes. I view them as expendable.
They are expendable, but they are also necessary. To put forth the best product, however, you want the best workers.
As with most business turning a profit, it is the employer who makes more off the backs of the workers than vice-versa.
