I can see what he is saying, but what does 'To For Self' mean? I'm thinking this probably won't go far.
 
That ain't happening. This isn't the 1930s, why is this sort of mentality still being exhibited? Fucking ridiculous, man.

He's right. Economically, black athletes should be considering ownership of their own sports leagues. Since 78% of the NBA is comprised of black athletes it would make sense to start a black owned league and siphon talent from the NBA.

Of course, that would require some significant pay cuts in the early years. But I'm sure some of them would feel that it's worth it.

None of them would take that kind of paycut... theyd go from making 20+ million for a max deal to 20 grand for a max deal
 
I'm wondering how he thinks the logistics behind this sort of thing would even work.
 
Devil's advocate question- In a league/sport of 85% of a racial group being the players, and 5% having ownership or GM status, how is this possibly a racist mentality displayed by Mr. Johnson. Whether you agree with that or not comparing this to the statements made by Sterling probably means you have some Sterlingesque views J/s

Obviously a majority of the revenue is from overseas. Imagine losing them over a childish act. Larry just keep shooting those jumpers leave the strategy to the men. :icon_lol:
