often time when i go up against a larger guy when we roll I get submitted from kimuras. how are you supposed to defend from side if he is not rasing up but just flat on you?
if he has his hands locked already and hes alot bigger/stronger than you,probably turn away and give up your back
before he has his hands locked i personally try to get an underhook...if your arm isnt already in position to do that you need to hip bump to create space to get your arm through
