Kids in The Hall

Remember the episode with Idiot boy? It was basically a retarded guy. Totally wouldn't fly today lol.

If you've ever seen Brain Candy, apparently cancer boy was a big reason paramount did such a shitty job marketing the movie.

Reprised from the final episode of the TV show, in a sketch that satirized the idea of being as offensive as possible, Cancer Boy is Bruce McCulloch dressed in a bald cap, with pale white makeup, using a wheelchair. He relays depressing information with a cheerful smile and releases a hit pop single entitled "Whistle When You're Low". Many found the character to be in exceedingly poor taste.[4][5] Paramount Pictures fought extensively with the troupe to cut the offending scenes, to no avail. The group has expressed some regret over their hardline position years later, feeling the battle left Paramount bitter and reluctant to fully market the film.[6]

That's the most distasteful comedy I've ever seen lol.

Loved Kids in the Hall growing up. Came across this a few years ago. Apparently they did a miniseries Death Comes to Town.
I’d say it’s way funnier than brain candy and should be considered among their best work

Is this the sketch show with the dude who crushes peoples heads?

I prefer the whitest kids you know

Who's everyone's favourite member?

Mine's always gotta be Dave Foley with Scott Thompson barely trailing in 2nd.

Dave was the perfect straight man. His monologues top my list

I convinced my parents that they put salt in my eyes when I was a kid. I couldn’t remember where I got the idea from, but now they are going to get a link sent to them.

Bruce McColluch could do almost anything and it would be funny to me.

I always thought they were gay

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Me and a buddy did a walk on for that show back in the early nineties. I never even saw the episode.

One of the funniest shows of all time.
Scott Thompson also gets credit for making gay people acceptable to me when I was just an elementary and junior high kid and was very repelled by and confused about the whole idea of gay people existing.

I think it would save some trouble if more high school students would watch these three:

This isn't the right sketch. It's these characters, but they have no food and at the end sing:
Oh dee oten doten day, heating up our B.A.'s.

I tried watching it back in the day, it sucked. It seemed like an excuse for them to dress up in drag.
Dave Foley making me want a Quebecois whore right now.

Dave Foley or Isabella Rossellini?
