IMO, this is a sketch comedy show that doesn't get enough love. They were ahead of their time and their bizarre, dark humor was always right up my alley. I also liked the fact that they never did impressions of celebrities or politicians, outside of Scott portraying the Queen of England.

I can't find the clip, but when they find out Bruce McCulloch is the cause of cancer is one of my favorite sketches on any show, ever. "I'm sorry I caused all that cancer. I didn't realize it was such a hideous disease."

For anyone in Canada you can stream the entire series on CBC (not sure if this will work outside of Canada).

Kids in the hall was great. Ive met and worked with Kevin McDonald (he came through one of the venues I do sound for) In real life he was literally exactly like he is on the show. It was kinda strange actually.

Never watched the show, but that is how I discovered Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet.

OT- a few years ago, the ontario liquor board had a strike, so the local news was at Toronto's largest store talking to people, and that little dude from kids in the hall was there with a huge cart of booze and they interviewed him. lol

If this post doesn't get 1,000 likes, I'll let the monkeys loose.

I loved the body conscious skit where Dave Foley grew tits. Epic. I’d post a video but I can only find one with commentary.

Love that show! Way ahead of their time, they even had SJWs back in the 90s lol Chicken lady and Buddy Cole are my favorite characters. So ridiculous lmao

Chicken Lady was a classic. “From my body to your plate”...

enjoyed it back in the day.
haven't seen it recently, not sure how well that show will age.

love this skit

That show was hilarious. I watched it every airing... coupled with episodes of Young Ones? Same time frame? My memory is very poor.

I recall a sketch where two guys are arguing in front of a couch. Suddenly a cowboy pops up from behind the couch and starts admonishing both to stop arguing. It descends into chaos. It was toward the end of the series?

I also recall there was something interesting about the finale

I've been rewatching the entire Kids in the Hall recently, and it holds up incredibly well. A lot of the humour would be politically incorrect these days, but goddamn those guys were hilarious.

Remember the episode with Idiot boy? It was basically a retarded guy. Totally wouldn't fly today lol.

I tried watching it back in the day, it sucked. It seemed like an excuse for them to dress up in drag.
