There was some previous thread but didn't seem to find it.

Liverkick updated their rankings for the first time since december. No more Saki, Ristie or Hari in there.

Steven Wright also did a women's p4p ranking post a while ago.

For another ranking, combatpress does one as well.

They should also include a P4P ranking as well. My P4P:

1) Sittichai Sitsongpeenong
2) Giorgio Petrosyan
3) Kaew Fairtex
4) Nieky Holzken
5) Artur Kyshenko
6) Robin Van Roosmalen
7) Enriko Gogokhia
8) Yodsanklai Fairtex
9) Serhiy Adamchuk
10) Simon Marcus

I'm not sure if some of these fighters should be above others so probably made a few mistakes but I think all of these guys deserve to be in the top 10 (at least most of them).

Combat Press is awesome, they update their rankings every month.

On Liverkick's update, its pretty good. I would have Kyria a bit lower, Yuta Kubo a bit lower, and I would add the guy who just beat Glunder.

1. Kaew Fairtex
2. Enriko Gogokhia
3. Sittichai
4. Rico
5. Adamchuk
6. Kyshenko
7. Cedric Doumbe
8. Simon Marcus
9. RvR
10. Takeru

I tend to agree with Chael Sonnen's sentiment when it comes to P4P rankings. Otherwise, I get all my ranking knowledge from SupremeStriKing.

He's there by dec win over Stetsurenko IIRC, that was a while ago. Think he's had some injuries and been inactive due to that.

I do belive adamchuck is not getting the respect he deserves.

Seems about right if you're going by a 'who's beaten who in the division' accounting as opposed to potential skill. I do think he might be the favorite vs Soda and Kubo among the guys above him given their recent slides, but its a tossup.

Just has to beat a higher ranked name then, easy fix.

I agree. I feel Adamchuk has a very effective and unique style. Would love to see him against Kaew Fairtex who I think he could beat. I know talent when I see it and he has the potential to be something special. Just needs to move up to 155.

How can Robin van Roosmalen be ranked #1 and #2? He hasnt even fought in kickboxing this year and only had 2 fights last year. There are plenty of guys who have achieved more than him the last couple of years. Of course youre going to be undefeated a given year if you only fight 2-3 times with the help of judges.

Buakaw #7 lol? shouldnt even be ranked

I think it was based on him beating Sittichai even if it wasn't a true win its still a win on paper. Van Roosmalen may not be as consistent but he's still a decent fighter and has defended the belt a few times against the likes of Andy Ristie, Kiria and of course Sittichai. I personally don't think he should be at number 1 but I understand why they would put him there (for now).

I still don't agree with that. The Glory belt isn't that prestigious IMO. While RVR has been doing nothing Sittichai has won like 10 more tournaments with good fighters.

Liverkick rankings became at least more acceptable now...

Sime things i would change on this ranking:

HW

-Roman Kryklia at least on the top 10

-Guto Inocente dont deserve to be on the top 10 ,even more on the top 6(come on,nothing against him,but the guy only have one decent victory in two years,who was an replacement,Brian Douwes,the rest he took Demoreo Dennis and a "hermano" noob..)

=================================

MW

-Alex Pereira and Filip Verlinden changing their positions,pereira deserve it considering he recently defeated the good Adesanya and Cesar Almeida while Verlinden is on a 3 loss streak

=======================================

WW

-Ghajji and Haida trading their places.

-Daniels last decent win was against Oliveira more than a year ago,while he got TKOed twice against holzken and defeated two cans as Baesman(who is not even a kickboxers) and a italian dude,he should get dropped from the top 10,but this ranking is clearly on the side of glory guys

-Kongolo Climbing to 6th

=======================================

LW(this division is a little bit messed up on this rankings)

-Sitthichai without any doubt on the first place(the kid defeated a half of top 10 on his division in one year while Roosmalen last two big wins was the controversial against Sitthichai and the big victory over Ristie,and a victorie over the decent moxon,only it in one year.

-RVR getting droped to 2nd place

-Nothing wrong with Gogokhia in the 3rd place

-Nothing Wrong with Petro in the 4th place(considering he is not facing the elite for a while,especially with the unlucky Gogokhia replacement giving him Ravy Bronow)

-Yod Fairtex 5th(nothing wrong with him on this position,yes,he is innactive due injury,but last year he had big victories over the powerful Marat Grigorian,the good guys Zuev Nagbe and the inconsistent Aeskerov.

-Marat Grigorian 6th(nothing wrong too,he had two defeats against the best ranked of the division and made good against him,defeated by the guy above him too and against the amazing Adamchuk who is not a very bad thing,and he have some cool wins like his k-1 title knocking everyone especially the good Pikeur in the finals,demolition victory over the very good prospect moiseev and the big KO over the decent on kb rules Dijme Coulibaly)

-Wu Xuesong 7th(come on...the guy only had two well known fights,one against an average muay farang without too much experience on kickboxing and the big upset and one of the best KO of the year over Ozkan,but it still a low thing to place a guy on the top 10 of the most competitive division on kickboxing),i would replaced him with Chingiz Allazov,this guy is on a good win streak and defeated some good names in one year like Haida,Juri Kehl,Eduard Bernardou,Dijme,Millet and Baya.

-Tayfun Ozkan 8th(nothing wrond to me,defeated good guys on enfusion and got the title,a dominant win over kiria made this place for him too).

-Askerov 9th(askerov got this position when he KOed Kehl and the chinese dude in the same night,lost to Yod who is not a really bad thing and Koed the flip coin Aikpracha,but the moment is over now and he took a draw against the finished Stevelmans and a bad loss against Baitar,he should got out from the top 10,i would placed on 9th the young talent Artem Pasphorin,the kid sinde 2015 defeated Bayramov,the good Cosmo Alexandre and knocking him down twice,Ngimbi in the same Night of Alexanderand Nagbe.(or Anatoly Moiseev)

-Josh Jauncey 10th(a lot of guys could be on 10th place like Dzianis Zuev,Lee Sung Hyun or Superbon Banchamek,so not a big mistake place Jauncey here)

My LW top 10

1st Sitthichai

2nd RVR(only for some reasons,but the right would be him steps back because he is innactive for a time and took a low number of fights)

3rd Gogokhia

4th Petrosyan

5th Yod

6th Grigorian

7th Allazov

8th Ozkan

9th Pasphorin or Moiseev

10th Jauncey or Hyun,Superbon,Zuev

===================================

FW

-Adamchuk and Kubo trading positions

I get that. Maybe the guy who created it literally just put RVR at the top based off the Sittichai win and probably thought everything Sittichai has done is irrelevant when comparing him to RVR because RVR beat him. Its stupid but its an explanation. I just realized RVR hasn't fought in 8 months! What if he's been slaving away at the gym obsessed with perfecting a game plan and comes in machine ready?
