Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone here has trained at kiatphontip gym?? Basically long story short is I fight Muay Thai and have a big one coming up in a few months and am looking to head over and do my prep in Thailand.

I've trained at a lot of gyms over their and never really had a bad experience but I've changed gyms here at home about a year ago and my trainer (originally from isaan) pushes a rather technical style onto us. I was looking for somewhere not touristy and a place I would get pushed in training and that I could get clinching every day. Somebody pointed me towards kiatphontip and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback. I know rob posts on here so of course I welcome your input. Also I apologise if this is the wrong forum as I haven't posted for along time and wasn't sure if I should post here or the stand up forum.

How are you at dealing with advances from an old perverted British man?

Pretty sure there is a height limit there too...

It's not easy to resist my charms and good looks!

Who is your trainer gammo if you don't mind me asking?
If you want to be pushed then our trainers have no problem with that, they like people that come to train and show they are prepared to work as well as learn, we train everyone the same as long as they can keep up, plenty of clinching everyday and sparring available and we are indeed out of the way a little from tourist distractions and tend to have more fighters come to stay with us, rather than people that want to do a bit of Muaythai alongside their vacation. How big are you also? We do have a couple of biggish Thai's to clinch with one around 70 kilos and the other is about 66 now, former Ratchadamnern and Thailand champion and fought a couple of times in UK recently, we have the current WBC 122 lb world champion here who walks around at about 62 kilos and is a very strong clincher, also have a couple of biggish fighters from another camp come in for clinching and sparring when they have fights lined up, Thaksinlek Kiatniwat is one of them.

Hey mate thanks for the reply. I fight at 69-71 kgs. My trainer here is formerly of muangsurin gym. Your gym sounds perfect for me in terms of location and training partners, I've private messaged you with some more details. Thanks mate appreciate it
