Khusein Askhabov is a Chechen fighter who fights out of.. Luxembourg?

He is a solid prospect anyway with 15 fights experience.

Nice addition to the Bantamweight division.

Before you ask: 'who da foo...'

I dont think he is ready for UFC, i like him and his brother they have fought all over the world but they are not ready imo.

Not sure. There should be some lower leveled bantamweights out there in the UFC. He is young at 23, he can work his way up. His striking sure needs work, though. At least we have Petr Yan is fighting soon, one of the better bantamweight prospects right now.

This guy has been lighting up the Luxembourg 135lb division... don't blink

I agree, but he is 15-0 and defended some sort of title. He will find some low leveled bantamweight to fight in his UFC debut.

Yeah but remember what happened to Horiguchi. He was young, talented, made his way up fast and they fed him to DJ too soon, and it didn't look like they were going to give him another shot so he bolted for another promotion.

More than 1 year later and it's still not officially announced.

I completely forgot about this. I saw Khusein and his twin brother in some instagram stories, but nothing else..

I think he is not signed by UFC. If you look here, you can find threads that Goltsov is signed (in reality he is signed with PFL), Loughanne was signed months ago (or what was his surname, that guy who was on DWTNCS recently and Dana didn't signed him because of the takedown in last round).

Holy shit a Chechen without a bowlcut?!?!?

Ah, the classic miniature Chechen by way of Luxembourg.
Way to be a stereotype, Askhabov.

incredibly underwhelming film reel but hey good luck to him

Hm. He looked bigger than his opponents, and his striking needs a lot of work. Low level karate with no boxing isn't going to cut it. Looks good on the ground though.
