Khamzat's insane cardio; he could of gone 10 rounds, DDP was exhausted

Khamzat 2.0 has a way of fighting that drains every last sap of energy from his big white gorilla opponent whilst expelling minimal energy himself. All while 10-8'ing DDP in every round.

Is this the most insane fighter cardio on the roster as he's so efficient? He made DDP look like Bob Sapp. The way DDP could only hold his body up while mounted on top of Khamzat end of round 5 was shocking to see! He had nothing left.

DDP looked like he got out of a hard sauna session.
How you hit someone 550 times with no visible damage? Thats a feat.
Phil Davis would be proud of this performance.

He's going to be sore all over tomorrow morning it was such a one-sided beating.

Could have been more damage yeah, but the image of DDP doing that pathetic belly flop over and over to try throw Khamzat off him when he was held down on his back was pitiful. It made me almost feel sorry for the fella 😆😆

DDP's face was reasonably jacked up in the post-fight interview, by round 3 those chipping shots added up and he started getting hit with hard elbows from the crucifix.

Was it "exciting" to watch DDP get methodically broken down while being unable to defend takedowns, execute grappling escapes, or take chances? Not really though it was fascinating to see in one way, but that's on DDP to not get taken down or be willing to risk getting submitted by trying something audacious. Instead he chose to get methodically broken down because he thought Khamzhat would gas.

DDP looked fine at the end cardio wise
Are you mad he was so exhausted he couldn't throw any punches or attempt anything he just posted his arms and could only hold his weight up just about end of round 5.

Never seen DDP dominated cardio Wise like that.

He barely threw any punches anyways

Khamzat broke the record with 529 strikes landed. Granted most of those were more like meat tenderising punches to DDPs head but still, DDP is going to be feeling that all over tomorrow. Probably the most bruised up he's ever felt.

Good thing they went to Paramount, with the biggest star being a muslim Phil Davis. Bro is not selling 50k PPVs with this style.

Its not that, its that he controlled the pace. He made DDP work and carry his weight so it became like another training gym session.
We have seen him gas when he is made to really fight, this doesnt answer those questions.

This is a delusional take.

He worked to get his cardio better specifically for this fight and it worked.

If he did this to Dricus for 5 rounds he will be able to eat the cardio king Fluffy who is weaker then DDP for 5 rounds without getting out of the first gear

DDP looked fine at the end cardio wise, but all he did once taken down is hide under Khamzat, exposing only the back of the head, doing small bridges, if any.

Hoping things will get better in the next round.

Sneaky strategy.

Yep. People are comparing apples with oranges big white gorillas

Well he drained his balls in DDP's ass multiple times he was so dominant I give you that.

Round 4 and 5 Khamzat looked like he'd just completed a mild work out.
Because he had

He may have improved his cardio, but this fight doesn't tell us that

Didnt Khamzat end on his back in the 5th multible times? As someone said earlier, he paced himself and sapped DDPs Cardio by using his weight in dominant positions to stall and kind of rest. His Cardio was as good as it can be and maybe it is slightly improved but the main difference was that he respected DDP and fought with his brain. His Cardio was never shit to begin with (although he is no Merab or Khabib)
