He's legit, I wasn't on his hype train, I knew he wasn't going to handle the entire top 10 like he did the unranked guys. The hype for him here unreal, and the most insane I've ever seen without question. To me even tho I believe the fight could have been scored with him losing. He proved he's fucking great. But I think even the rabid fanboys should now stop with the bullshit about how he'd finish Usman easy in round 1 without taking a more then a few significant strike. Then move up a weight class and do the same to Issy.

Yes he beat unranked guys without even getting hit, but #20's so far off #2. It's crazy people on here thought he would beat Burns like he beat the 1st 3 unranked guys he fought. And also, can we now PLEASE stop bringing up retarded sounding shit like how he would easily ragdoll HW wrestlers? He's a great WW, he might even be champ one day. He's not going to move up in weight and clear out the MW division, and he damn sure won't be smeshin any HW wrestlers.

He’s still what I’ve always thought he was, a promising talent with a bright future. I never thought he would steamroll Burns, Colby and Usman to become champ in 2022. Imo only a delusional fanboy with unrealistic expectations would have said or believed that.

Khamzat stood up, it's not like Burns forced the standup by getting up.

We'll just have to see what happens. I see Khamzat outwrestling both if he chooses to.

Everyone, all the guys in the UFC, people think that I don't respect them. This is the game, like, I'm trying to play with his mind and let him make some mistakes y'know, I love that shit. You know, I've been watching all the time, all the UFC shit and I've tried to learn something from everyone.

And I respect all of my opponents, you know, everyone do this for their familiy. And I did see before the fight, actually it was a little bit hard to fight him (Gilbert), becuase I see his kids and they come to me "ah, you will fight my daddy". Y'know I said "shit, fuck, I don't need that shit (before a fight), I just don't wanna fight with some daddy". I need a killer like me, you know, to kill somebody and don't have to care about that shit.

After the fight I go to him and said "respect brother" and "sorry for the punches" because we all do this for our family.

 
Khamzat showed that he belongs in the top of the division. I think a fight with Colby would be close, but he loses to Usman.
 
I don't see Khamzat beating Colby or Kamaru...and people thought he could take out Israel...

I don't believe it's his cardio. He's been fighting with very limited crowds, plus he got the most press before this fight and talked so much he had to try to get a early ko. Next fight will be less pressure on him and he'll have the first sold out crowd under his belt. Is it possible he will gas again? Entirely, but I don't think it will be an issue.
