If you noticed he was interested in being in Burns guard. Khazmat knows his limits, he isn't an unstoppable machine from every position grappling. Burns would have subbed him. He made sure never to be in Burns guard. By rd 2 and 3 he was too tired to shoot and was faster than Burns striking. Great fight IQ

i think he gassed more than he would like to admit

Khamzat landed more and got a TD, I was pretty sure he would get the win.

What an awesome fight though, in the post-fight interview Khamzat said he's glad to finally get some resistance. Hats off to Gilbert!

And he constantly pressured and walked Gilbert down, for me this edged him rnd 3

Gilbert was on the fence getting lit up most of the 3rd round. If he got off the fence maybe he could’ve won.

Yeah he was f***d after chasing that takedown, it’s what cost him the fight. Straight after that he was temporarily gassed and just ate shots against the fence. If he just kept it standing he could’ve won he had the better standup.
