I'm a big Khamzat fan.

Not a good performance but he Gilbert clearly lost the 1st being outstruck and knocked down as well as almost being TKO'd in the 3rd. The massive cut on his eye and constantly backing up didn't help his case either.

Burns was more hurt in round 3. Hence circling and laying back on the cage.

burns landed the bigger shots in round 3, but khamzat did have the pressure and volume.

A draw would have been justified tbh, it’s amazing that khamzat did not buckle or drop from those round 3 shots, if he just fell down once Burns wins that fight. Khamzat was impressive and he’s a legit top 5 WW in the world, but I’m not totally sold on his offensively wrestling, I think he got tired and went away from it entirely, no head movement either. His chin saved him in this fight.

Burns did very well in the 3rd, landed a lot of good shots but early on he got hurt bad almost got finished. Khamzat did the most damage in that round and was in control.
