Media Khamzat Responds to Colby!!!

LOL @ thinking Izzy's bottom has even a breath of a chance against a fighter like Khamzat

it's still a fight many people want to see although it seems like Khamzat is being shot up the rankings altogether and will fight Vetorri or Whittaker.

Why was he ordered to rehydrate by the docs in the first place? This is all on him. He is the typical weight bully grappler, he was forced to rehydrate cuz he was cutting too much.
Bad weight cut. Maybe he knew Nate Diaz was a joke and didn't take it as seriously. Don't act like he's the only guy cutting alot of weight. Literally everyone does in UFC.

Khamzat is literally the most overrated fighter on the roster. Any hypothetical fight people talk about vs Khamzat apparently Khamzat beats with ease

this weight bully shit is silly. Pereira is another example, and a good example of what a man without excess fat and muscle mass actually weighs. most fighters, and athletes for the matter, are carrying excess muscle, excess fat, or both

the vast majority of the UFC heavyweight division, if not all of them, could make 205. a decent portion of them could make 185. khamzat can make 170 but he would have to lose almost all of his muscle mass to do so and his cardio takes a hit. otherwise a very heavy water cut which, evidently, made the docs stop it

either way if khamzat can't consistently make 170 and colby still wants to run his mouth, fight at 185. it's that simple. colby losing at that weigh class would not affect him at 170 (assuming he doesn't get knocked out), and if he wins it would be big for him. but, it would seem he doesn't actually want to fight chimaev. and is more interest in the WW strap which makes sense.

either way this is all bitch shit
My definition of a weight bully is someone who fails miserably at weigh ins. Khamzat/Till at WW, Rumble until he moved to LHW, etc. I don't consider someone like Jones a weight bully because he never failed to make 205. He may have other issues (like PEDs and personal stuff) but I have no problem with him fighting at 205 as long as he makes weight when it counts.

Khabib had similar problems in his early UFC career. He eventually figured it out and was fine, even though he still struggled a bit to make weight. Khamzat will be fine. He just needs to keep the weight down a bit between fights. If he misses weight in his next welterweight fight then he deserves all the hate he's getting. I don't understand why he's getting so much hate now. I've never seen anyone get so much hate for missing weight one time.

The guy almost single handed ruined a whole card and gave zero fuck about it. No apologies instead middle finger to the fans while weighing in. He deserves all the hate. If he was at least remorseful, more people would try to sympathize.

Yes most fighters cut weight, but they don’t miss weight to the point they ruin or almost ruin an entire card.
It was his first miss and he rehydrated. Fought an opponent his weight anyways. I don't get why people like you are so butthurt and don't give him a pass for his 1st weight miss.

Why did he rehydrate why didn’t he keep cutting weight?

HAMzhat isn't a welterweight after the Diaz mess. Stick to middleweight and take on one of the myriad of guys there who will fight you

Silly how he blames docs for his massive weight miss. Like dude, they wouldn’t have had to order you to rehydrate if you had cut weight better/fought at a more natural weight class.
Khamzat is a tool..Guy calls out the roster blows up cards by missing massive weight.

I was a big fan when he first burst into the scene but all the talk and antics have soured me.
I agree with both of these sentiments.
Chimaev went from one of the most exciting prospects and potential stars to a laughing stock. Has to be one of the biggest career downfalls I've seen in recent memory.
He's still undefeated and has a lot of potential, but he has soured himself in the eyes of at least 30% of his fans, the more hardcore types. If he missed weight and apologized, was humble, claimed he was sick whatever; people would have looked past it. But missing by 8lbs then flipping everyone off and acting like everyone else was wrong was the worst thing he could have done for his stock. He needs to go out and smash someone at 185 to make people forget and chill the fuck out. He's already acting a little Jon Jones-y crashing cars gifted to him by dictators, but I just assume he didn't have a drivers license before joining the UFC, if he has one at all. Needs to be active, smash people, and make weight.

For a while Colby pretended like Khamzat didn't even exist when asked about him during interviews. Now all of a sudden Colby is talking tough because Khamzat likely has to move to 185
They have confirmed he is fighting at 185 from now on. I'm assuming the UFC asked him to do a test cut that didn't go well and they nixed the idea of him staying at welterweight. Good thing, weight bullying is annoying to watch, unless it was Rumble (RIP).
No one here wants to admit he weighed after hydrating or anyone ducked Khamzat. Pretty sad how people think he gained 8lbs of lean mass from the Burns fight to the Nate fight (5 months). So whatever happened between those 5 months, Khamzat will never make 170lbs again. I think secretly people don't want WW's to lose to Khamzat.
He was literally in a restaurant in Vegas the night before, drinking sparkling water and having a full meal. He was done cutting long before the weigh in, fella. He didn't make the contractually stipulated weight because he doesn't belong in the class. No one is claiming he gained 8lbs of muscle, they are claiming he didn't make weight like he was supposed to be cause he is too large for the weight class, which is true.

Pretty sad how you excuse the fact that he missed weight and blew up a card and want him to get a title shot.

He missed weight badly and now they are making him fight up a division before he tried at WW again.. They should do this with everyone who misses weight.

Neither guy fights but people still going to pick sides about nothing. Dude missed weight and by a lot. He wouldn’t argue about that if he was honorable. And well Colby, he’s never been honorable.

Tbh Colby only said he doesn't want to hear about Khamzat. He isn't exactly lying there. And Khamzat did miss weight for however much that is.
He "only" said he was "begging" for the khamzat fight for a while
