I agree. Khamzat vs Colby is the fight to make (next to Shavkat vs Colby.......or Khamzat vs Shavkat). He should try and make 170 one last time
Usman gave back from adversity and knocked burns the fuck out.Khamzat beats both Usman and Edwards at the same time.
no, he is still kanzat to me.U ok man? I think that name stopped applying in 2021. Your internet just come back after the whole COVID thing?
You know he's faced GM3, Li, Burns, Holland in succession, right? U know he KO'd Aliskerov 1 year before his UFC debut, right?
Here's to hoping you get a bit more creative or catchup to some of the more modern-date hating like "chen chen" or..wait for it..."gourmet chen chen". In about 2 years as you catchup to present day you'll find all these MF's sucking Costa's dick...yeah it's funny b/c they were the same ones meme'ing what Izzy did to him. Yeah yeah I know..sherdog gonna sherdog.
Alrite take care man and hit me up when you're all caught back up to the present!
A million less than Islam to put it in perspective.Jeez… 5 million followers?!
This guy is huge!!!!
Is someone injured? Can Khazmat make 170? Will he fight the winner? Is he not moving up?

On the other hand. Having a backup fighter be a known weight miss risk is probably not the wisest choice, and it would mean they would likely have to have a backup for the backup. If Khamzat, his managers, or the UFC had 2 brain cells between them, they would have Khamzat as the alternate just so he could make weight, thus demonstrating he can make 170, to then book him vs the winner.
Leon and Kamaru will both hit 170, unlike Khamzat, they are pros, so there would be basically zero risk, and you could then have a marketable challenger for a potential big fight.
That isn't his fault lol. UFC/Dana all said they have a hard time getting fighters to accept a fight with Khamzat. Notice how all the fighters that usually say they are willing to fight him have all been quiet the last few months? That's because Khamzat has been looking for a fight for the past few months and UFC has been trying to get fighters to fight Khamzat for the past few months lol. Only one that agreed to it was Pereira but wanted it at LHW so the belt wasn't on the line since he has a rematch for the title already in place with Izzy.Very active on social media, not so much in the Octagon.
And when he did fight Burns he didn't exactly look spectacular. Looked great versus Holland, a guy who can't wrestle though.

Turned out they went with Colby as backup anyway. A known quantity who has proven he can make 170 on the dot multiple times.

Except Khamzat manager said they're turning down fights and will only accept champions and #1 contenders, they're past just taking fights. That isn't his fault lol. Costa has contract dispute so he isn't fighting anyone until that's cleared up, that's why his fight with Whittaker got pulled. Notice anyone else speaking up?
