News Khamzat gets called out for DUCKING

The hype was that he was going to fight very frequently, smash everybody and blast up the rankings through activity.
Instead it looks like the plan has changed, not sure whether it's from UFC's side or his team. He's still a fantastic prospect but it's not quite what people were excited about at first.

I don't know where you're getting the idea that Khamzat is somehow way bigger than Usman. He's a couple inches taller, but Usman's in cage weight is actually more than Khamzat's. Usman also has the reach advantage. Add to this that Usman is fucking JACKED. He's built like an NFL running back. Thick chest, stout legs, big ass etc.

Khamzat would beat Usman in a straight freestyle wrestling match, but it would be with technique. He certainly would not overpower usman, and I would bet their MMA wrestling is pretty equal.

Mark my words, the fight is going to come down to stand up, where Marty is better everywhere at the moment. Yes, he will jab Khamzat into a living death, andd yes, he will when most the striking exchanges in the clinch.

Add to this that usman has that GSP cardio. We don't know if Khamzat has that yet. He obviously has great cardo with his elite wrestling background, but fighters with next level cardio are born, not made, and usman's got it. It's what makes fighters like GSP and Jon Jones so hard to beat down the home stretch. It's going to take someone special to beat Marty if they can't finish him in the first couple rounds. Khamzat has shown he's a power punch and could do it, but IMO, that power is what's going to get him outclassed by a more crisp striker in Usman with a solid game plan.

Yea maybe it's time to stop pretending like you're such a badass that nobody wants to fight you... to the point that you're calling out GSP and Brock Lesnar and stupid shit like that...


Take this fight if you're a man, Khamzat. You're acting like such a badass... but someone in the top10 is calling you out repeatedly for a fight... time to stop talking, and man up

Would rather see an actual fight rather than some one expected to demolished, based on his previous performances. Doesn't do anything for Khamzat, its not ducking, its taking a fight that's actually worthwhile. All it does is put Magnys name out there, it's no secret why the #7 ranked guy is calling out someone ranked way lower than him. No one gives a shit about Magny, the only reason people are even mentioning his name is because of Khamzat. Khamzat brings eyes to the table and Magny wants a piece.

Would much rather see a more interesting matchup, Magny seems like easy prey based on his previous losses and I think all parties realize that. Khamzat would fight anyone, he responded to Magny already, but best believe UFC isn't interested in that matchup, best to move past it and look to more interesting matchups, Magnys using this bs for all the clout he can and all the casuals jumping on board.
 
khamzat is out of neil’s league. neil and li are in the same class & khamzat absolutely washed li. most one-sided ranked fight of the year. this like ricky simon calling sandhagen out for ducking. there’s levels to this shit.

I know it was Li Jingliang but I saw something special in the speed Khamzat shot that double. I think he can shoot under Usmans punches and get the hips, but what comes next I don't know. He's certainly not gonna pick him up and carry him around Ala Li

It's wild how Khamzat fans have changed from wanting him to fight every month to 'we don't want squash matches I want Khazmat to sit out for top 5 or top 3 or nate Diaz'

This just shows he's a normal guy cherry picking his way to the top.

There's nothing to show that Dana has reached out to offer this specific fight on a contract to him. I'll wait for this to unfold before passing further judgement...
but,

It would be a great matchup.
Perfect spot in the rankings for Khamzat to fight up to and Magny is a name that's fought the who's who of the division and will vault Khamzat up the rankings with a dominant win. It's the type of fight Khamzat has been asking for. And it should be a banger.

They're human dude. Fear happens. Not saying it's the case in this one because likely nothing official has been offered yet. But pro fighters definitely experience fear. Micheal spinks was an undefeated pro boxer through 31 fights who had fought Gerry Cooney, and Larry Holmes twice. And he was clearly terrified going in againt Mike Tyson. Just because a guy has a UFC contract dosen't mean they can't experience fear. Just look at how badly Tito ducked chuck.

Bullshit. 99% of khamzat fans want to see him wreck magny and move into the top 5. It's his camp that want a bigger name.
 
Khamzat would squash Magny like an insect, useless matchup. Just do Burns already.
 
Magny is a good gate keeper, but losing to Chiesa didn't help his call out.
