the fact is, covid to a healthy person like khamzat, this is nothing but a small cold...nothing more....this should have no effect on him whatsoever.

I agree, i doubt this will have any impact on the Main event, Corona incubation is only 14 days. Better he gets it now than on fight week.

Even IF he was asymptomatic (which contrary to comments from people in this thread, isn't a guarantee for athletes in the slightest... see RDA) he is now poison for anyone to be around. No training partner wants to roll and get guaranteed COVID that'll infect their entire family. So no training camp before one of the biggest ranking jumps in competition in the sport's history. Then there's cutting all the way down to 170 as well which is now more unlikely. I would be in complete shock if this fight is still made.
