If Khamzat is the better wrestler and the line is good, then I think that's a fine bet to take. Otherwise I wouldn't bet on Usman precisely because Khamzat is the better wrestler and may upset.

How is Hermansson not a big MW lol? He's looked the same size or bigger than Vettori, Cannonier, Branch, Jacare, etc., all fighters who've fought at LHW. Only Santos really looked bigger, and Santos is also a LHW now.

You have to train properly to get the muscle mass to move up, just look at Izzy.

I am sure the guy could fight at LHW if he put on muscle but would he still have killer KO power? I don't think so. We have seen moving up often results in less KO power even if you put the work in at the Gym. Conor is a great example of this.

I'd like to see Khamzat move to MW. Division needs new blood.
 
He's a MW. He's still young enough to do the big cuts to 170, but it's hard to imagine he can go his whole career at 170. He'll eventually settle at MW.

If he wanted, he could bulk to LHW, but he'd be a pretty small guy in that division and he's used to being the bigger man.

Lol Jan is probably not even 180 cm (5'11) Hamza is probably few cm over 180 (6'00). Pretty tall for caucasus. Ankalaev is really only one who is "tall" among them.

The Emperor Lord Chad God has a kind of lanky tall frame,but quite large for 170 lbs. That seems to be the perfect place for him to stay at,but we have seen him have devastating one punch power at 185,so.
 
They are probably pretty close in weight at that moment, Jan is cutting and almost at 93 while Khamzat walks around at like 90-91 kgs.....but Jan obviously with a full belly is the much thicker dude, thats why they are separated by 1-2 weight classes.
 
Jan is built with fucking oak wood, he's thick and solid as shit

Jan is clearly 6'2", his face offs with other LHWs make it clear he's not shorter than 6'1" unless you are retarded
 
Chimaev is an odd shape. Quite 'sauce bottle' shaped shoulders / sloping shoulders.
