News Khamzat Chimaev makes weight: UNDER championship limit at 183 lbs

Dont be such a fool look at the odds FFS!! Do you think the odds are set by some random bloke off the street? No, they are set by experts and have eyes in the gyms and amongst the trainer's so they know who is going to win. They are rarely off by anything under a hair and Khamzat is nearly 2:1 favourite numpty! Let that sink in.

You are coping so hard thinking DDP is going to dominate Khamzat he struggled to hurt mentally broken Strickland over 10 rounds 😆😆

90% of my income is from gambling on MMA. That is not how odds work, brother.

If you think odds are rarely off then you should see my GTD/ITD history hahaha. You would never think this stuff again.

Also, hate to break it to you, but if the odds were rarely off then gamblers would catch onto this quick and clean the bookies out, myself included. Accurate odds are not a good thing for the bookies lol. They make a fuck ton of money off people chasing inaccurate lines every minute of every day haha.

Ok put yer money where your mouth is let's see your bet slip for this fight, if you are so confident DDP dominates him then you are sure DDP is gonna win so put a significant amount of money on it.

Also LOL @ 90% of your income on betting either you work in McDonalds or you are lying.

Bro, what are you doubting me for? Heaps of people make a living gambling. Not sure if you realize this, but there's literally a gambling section on these forums with plenty of other gamblers who bet for a living. There's more than just the UFC section here lol.

You seriously think the bookies have spies inside of training camps and shit for fucking MMA fights? Do you think they do that for for every sport or something? They would get caught easily and fucked beyond belief if that were the case.

Going back to your claim that the bookies are rarely off. Rabadanov was like an 8-1 fav today. He lost. Mads was a big fav and got bigger during the fight. He lost. Juliana Velasquez I got for 2.60. Decent dog. She won. Last week I had Edwards/Cachoeira U1 (5.2), U3 (3.2), and ITD (2.3). The fight ended in the first round. Seems like the bookies were more than a little off considering I walked away with 21 units off that one fight haha.

I hope you stay away from gambling, brother. You have no idea at all about this stuff and would get hurt badly.

You are ignoring what I said. You are a gambling genius, you make most of your money from gambling, did you bet on DDP to beat Khamzat or not?

Yes I am saying the bookies have insider knowledge, like if a fighter has a niggling injury or had a bout of illness, the odds makers are the first to know. What you think they set odds based on feelings? It's a multi-billion dollar industry bro.

Ha ha you're right I don't gamble, I don't need to. I own a 4-bedroom $800,000 house and I'm under 40 still. I'm currently living the life in Thailand mate you should try it !

I haven't put any bets on for this card at all. I bet during walkouts. I'll be on DDP tomorrow at +3.00. I think the odds will get even higher as more bets come in. Will probably do Chimaev SUB U0.5 and have ITD as part of a mult as well. Yes, Chimaev Under, but keep in mind I don't always bet on what I want/think will happen.

I'm sorry, bro, but the bookies don't have that insider knowledge. There are hundreds of bets in play at any given time. For them to have that sort of operation going on would cost an absolute fuck ton, and would lose them so much more once they easily got found out.

And shit, there's been times when I've bet on fights where I've known things that the bookies clearly didn't yet.

Congrats on the 800k house at under 40. That's an amazing achievement. Do you mean you're holidaying in Thailand or have an 800k house in Thailand? Because I imagine 800k would get you a mansion over there lol. Either way that's awesome.

I don't need to gamble either. I just do it because it's fun and I like getting paid while watching fights lol. It's pretty great.

Seems like a great fight to live bet on. Chimmy handily beats DDP in the 1st and odds skyrocket for DDP.

Are you in EU and bet through EU sites?

A lot of bettors are going to be trying to time that, or just doing DDP Over 1 round.

Nah, I'm in Australia.

Ok so it works well in Australia sportsbetting? You guys have a plethora of different sites to use?

We don't have anywhere near as many as the U.S or probably the EU.

We don't pay any tax on gambling winnings though, so that's a cool thing we have going for us lol.

Holy shit no tax on gambling winnings!? DAMN

I'm curious how you make it work though. I haven't bet in many years now because I stopped but I noticed that I, and many others I spoke to, would very quickly get limited by the betting sites.

So it would be impossible to win much on any given site so you'd have to jump around to all the sites until they are used up and then after that it gets trickier.

Yeh, I use all the sites and sometimes split a bet between each. If I know I've won a lot on a book lately, I'll deliberately use that for more risky bets for a while that will likely lose.

Limiting does suck. I've been limited by a few, but new ones usually open up from time to time. When I eventually run out of all bookies I'll probably try and sell my bets through Patreon or something. That'll be a while away though. I can get away with mults easily still. Bookies don't limit them as quickly.

What are mults?

Even without having been limited on a site what have you found is the most you can put on any bet without having to go through their manual approval? I've had to go through manual approval for pretty small amounts honestly. And usually when that happens they give you a roof of how much you can place on the bet and at the same time they do that they also lower the odds, cocksuckers.

Which just makes me question how profitable that endeavor can be. Maybe it only works if you're a bettor that can have a high volume of bets compared to lower volume with higher stakes.

Ha ha you're alright mate, good luck to you if you can make it work.

The house is in the UK but it's a hell hole there so I choose to live in South East Asia, much nicer here and cheaper, better women too although I am married before I came out here :)

In terms of this fight I just think when predominantly strikers (DDP) have to worry about the takedown threat, they nearly always get fucked up both on the feet and on the ground. We see that always with opponents to Khabib or Islam. Remember how Poirier was beaten stand-up versus Islam? I would just favour Khamzat here 60-40.

Mults are parlays.

Biggest bets I've ever done are 5k. Those were always on low odds bets though. They went through right away. Some bookies they review anything over 2.00 for me. I guess it makes them think I'm onto something when I'm betting on big odds for women to have a finish lol.

There's a lot of different approaches that work. I've done just mults, just betting finishes or decs with some added rules I made up, and there's plenty of others. SOme people just live bet only.

haha It works on and off, depending on what approach I'm doing. I'm lucky that I have that other income that's basically passive at this point.

I've wanted to try moving out to somewhere cheap in SEA and living like that for a while. Cool that you're doing it.

For this fight, I think people are underestimating DDP's wrestling. I don't think it's as good as Chimaev's, but you don't need to be as good just to defend and survive. Burn's grappling wasn't as good for example and he survived Chimaev.

DDP really isn't just some pure striker that's going to shit his pants over a td threat either, I think. He actually has more subs than KOs, and he's only lost by sub once, and that was to a guy who had 9 subs himself. I don't think it'll be a situation like how Dustin/Islam was on the feet.

Either way, it'll be a fun fight. I sorta hope we don't just get Chimaev coming out and insta finishing DDP though lol. I want to see them actually get some rounds in so we can find out if Chimaev can actually deal with DDP after round 1.
